Writing or speech that uses difficult words and is impossible to understand.
e.g. I can’t understand all the chemistry gobbledygook in this textbook.
3. Huff and puff 空发脾气
To show one’s anger and disapproval, usually uselessly.
e.g. He huffed and puffed about the new office rules, but in the end, there was nothing he could do to change them.
4. The lowdown 内幕；真相；实情
The real details of a situation.
e.g. Does anybody know the lowdown about Tom and Lisa?
5. On the down-low (also, on the DL) 秘密进行的；不为人知的
Something to be kept secret.
e.g. I heard that Bob has a crush on Susie, but that’s on the DL for now.
